After six rounds of action, seven teams remain undefeated at the 2013 USA Curling Mixed Doubles National Championship at the Capital Curling Club.

Not included in the undefeated group are the defending champions, Brady and Cristin Clark of Seattle, who suffered an extra-end loss to Scott and Therese Olson of Massachusetts when Clark's final draw was swept out of scoring position. The win improves the Olsons to 3-0 in Pool A. The game was a roller coaster with the Clarks scoring four points early only to give up five in the next end.

"At the start both teams were a little off, but we both settled in after that and had a hell of a game. After those two ends there were a lot of great shots. It was all about the four-foot," Scott Olson said. After tying the game with a single in the eighth, Teri Olson made a double takeout on the Clarks' stones in scoring position. Brady Clark, the nine-time mixed champion and three-time mixed doubles champ, had just a little too much weight on his final throw of the match.
