USA women now 2-1, men 1-2 at 2012 World Seniors

USA's teams, skipped by Ian Journeaux (Plover, Wis.) and Pam Oleinik (Brookfield, Wis.), both won a game and lost a game as the 2012 World Senior Curling Championships round robin entered day two at the TÄrnby Curling Club just outside Copenhagen, Denmark.

Oleinik and teammates Laurie Rahn (Lake Forest, Ill.), Stephanie Martin (Barrington, Ill.) and Julie Denten (Northbrook, Ill.) bounced back from a lopsided 12-1 loss earlier in the day to Canada's Heidi Hanlan rink to defeat Russia, 11-3. The Americans ladies are now 2-1 with three games left in the round robin.
