Team USA started the 2012 World Mixed Doubles Championship on a winning note as Americans Brady Clark and Cristin Clark earned a 6-4 victory over New Zealand today at Milli Piyango Curling Hall in Erzurum, Turkey.

"It's nice to start with a win," Cristin Clark said. Team USA flipped the "on" button in the fourth end and kept New Zealand's team of John Campbell and Natalie Campbell off the scoreboard after the fifth end en route to the two-point win.
