USA remains undefeated at World Mixed Doubles
Today's victories improve Team USA to 5-0 just behind Switzerland (6-0) in the Blue Group. Those two undefeated teams will clash tomorrow morning for what likely will be for key playoff positioning.
“Any day you get two wins is a good day. We just dialed in on our weight – so you’ve got your draw weight and once you get that and throw a reasonable line, the game gets a little easier. Having a couple years of experience having done this before, you feel at ease and you just play as opposed to letting nerves get in the way.”
In the morning, Team USA earned a 9-4 victory over England's duo of John Sharp and Lorna Rettig at the Milli Piyango Curling Hall. "We managed a few steals and were efficient with the hammer today versus England," Brady Clark said.
In the afternoon game with Estonia's Martin Lill and Kristine Lill, Team USA capitalized on a steal of five points in the second end to seize the game's momentum.
