USA men now 3-1, women still searching for first win at 2012 World Juniors

Cory Christensen and the American women are still in search of their first win as the U.S. ladies suffered two more losses today at the 2012 World Junior Championships at Z-hallen in Oestersund, Sweden.

The American men, led by Stephen Dropkin (Southborough, Mass.), are tied for second place with a 3-1 record after posting a 10-3 defeat of the Czech Republic's Lukas Klima rink this afternoon. Dropkin and his team of Korey Dropkin (Southborough, Mass.), Thomas Howell (Brick, N.J.), Derek Corbett (Rochester, N.Y.) and Cameron Ross (Princeton Junction, N.J.) are in a four-way tie for second place with Canada, Scotland and Norway. The U.S. win today was highlighted by three ends in which the U.S. scored two or more points as the offense was in high gear.
