Team World wins 2012 Continental Cup title

January 15, 2012
It only took three ends of the final skins game tonight for Team World, led by Thomas Ulsrud of Norway, to eclipse the 201 point target to win the 2012 World Financial Group Continental Cup at the Langley Events Centre. Both sides have now won four titles each since the event began in 2002.

"I've been lucky enough to win it once before and also been unlucky enough to lose it big time," said Ulsrud, the 2010 Olympic silver medalist. "I definitely like to be on the winning side. I think this year we were a really good team. We pulled together as a team and that's what gave us the win." Ulsrud's teammates include Torger Nergard, Christopher Svae and Havard Vad Petersson.
