Erika Brown rink wins 2013 Women's Nationals

An All Star team of Olympians will make a return to the big stage to represent the U.S. at the upcoming world championships as Erika Brown led her team to a gold-medal victory this afternoon at the 2013 USA Curling National Championships presented by Brooms Up Curling Supplies.

Brown (Oakville, Ontario) and teammates Debbie McCormick (Rio, Wis.), Jessica Schultz (Minneapolis, Minn.) and Ann Swisshelm (Chicago) defeated 26-year-old Courtney George, 7-6, in an extra win to win the title at the Resch Olympic Pavilion at the Cornerstone Community Ice Center.
