Connecticut, Washington lead the pack in Willmar

Surka (New Haven, Conn.) and teammates Charrissa Lin (New Haven, Conn.), Nate Clark (Nashua, N.H.) and Rebecca Andrew (Henrietta, N.Y.) improved to 4-1, just a half game behind Washington at 5-1. Connecticut had one game on Tuesday at the Willmar Curling Club in Willmar, Minn. - a 10-1 victory over Arizona's Fred Maxie team.
