California, Washington to meet in mixed final

The defending champions from Washington will go for their fourth straight title tomorrow at the 2012 USA Curling Mixed National Championship.

Washington's Brady Clark rink and California's Lyle Sieg won their semifinal matches tonight and will meet in Saturday's gold-medal game at the Portage Curling Club in Portage, Wis. Clark (Lynnwood, Wash.) and teammates Cristin Clark (Lynnwood, Wash.), Sean Beighton (Seattle) and Bev Walter (Seattle) are going for Washington's fourth title win in a row. In contrast, Sieg (Tacoma, Wash.) and teammates Britt Rjanikov (Wayland, Mass.), Barry Ivy (Livermore, Calif.), Stacey MacNeil (San Jose, Calif.) and Katie Dubberstein (Portage, Wis.) are hoping to win the Mountain Pacific region's first-ever mixed national title.
