2012 Mixed Doubles Championship begins Wednesday in Boston

The four-sheet Broomstones Curling Club in Wayland, Mass., will host the 2012 USA Curling Mixed Doubles National Championship Dec. 7-11.The action is set to begin Wednesday at 5 p.m. with four games on tap.

Twenty-one teams of two are set to compete for the national title in the fifth year of this event. The winning team will earn the privilege to play for the U.S. at the 2012 World Mixed Doubles Championship April 23-29 in Erzurum, Turkey.

Live scoring will be available in the Scoreboard section on the USA Curling website (www.usacurl.org/curlingrocks) through its partnership with CurlingZone.
