We are excited to announce innovative changes to the U.S. Curling News, the official publication of USA Curling, this fall. Starting in early October, USA Curling members who already receive the Curling News will see a glossy, 32-page color magazine in their mailboxes in place of the newspaper that has been a stronghold of the Curling News for past decades.
Members will receive four printed editions of the Curling News in the 2012-13 season. Two additional editions will be sent to our members in a digital-only format for a total of six editions of the News. Members will have the ability to view the digital version from a computer or view the iPad/iPhone/Android version by downloading the free app, which will be available in late September. Check back for more information!
If you have bonspiel results to report, the first deadline of the season is Sept. 7. Send them to terry.kolesar@usacurl.org.
Good curling!

In keeping with the USCA’s High Performance Program goals of building toward long-term sustained competitive success, one men’s and one women’s teams from within the 2012-13 High Performance Project 2018 Program will receive a berth at the 2013 USCA Junior National Championships. The four teams (two men’s and two women’s) selected to the Program will play-off for these berths, the other teams will enter the playdown process as normal. This decision was made by USCA Director of High Performance Derek Brown after considerable discussion and feedback from Athletes Advisory Council members, coaches, and USCA board members.
