Curling demos in Super Bowl Village a huge success

USA Curling was the hit of the 2012 Super Bowl. A unique outdoor curling rink was set up in the Super Bowl Village in Indianapolis from Jan. 27-Feb. 5 for fans to try their hand at one of the fastest growing winter Olympic sports.

Massachusetts men, Minnesota II women win 2012 Junior Nationals

The 2012 USA Curling Junior National Championships are now complete. Thanks to the Madison Curling Club for hosting. Stephen Dropkin's Massachusetts team and Cory Christensen's Minnesota II women's team are the champions and now Team USA for the World Juniors in Sweden.

USA wins bronze in mixed doubles at WYOG

USA's Korey Dropkin won bronze in the mixed doubles at the inaugural Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck, Austria. Team USA finished 5th in the mixed team competition. Team members included Korey Dropkin(Southborough, Mass.), Sarah Anderson (Broomall, Pa.), Thomas Howell (Brick, N.J.) and Taylor Anderson (Broomall, Pa.). Team World wins 2012 Continental Cup

Team World defeated Team North America, 235-165, to capture the 2012 Continental Cup. USA teams skipped by Pete Fenson (Bemidji, Minn.) and Patti Lank (Lewiston, N.Y.) participated in the four-day event.
