The Copper Country Curling Club in Calumet, MI, was hit hard by a storm on July 1. More info is posted at the club website: http://sites.google.com/site/coppercountrycurlingclub/

The Minot Curling Club is still in 4-6 feet of flood water, according to Craig Nathan, club president. Club members will be able to go in and check out the full damage in about 1-2 weeks. Nearly all club members were directly affected as well. Volunteer help may be needed to help get the club back up and running this fall. Contact Craig at cnathan@min.midco.net.

Have you ever wondered what the sport of wheelchair curling is all about? Do you have aspirations to represent the United States on the World stage? Are you a future Paralympian? Well then, we need you!

The United States Curling Association is currently searching for new athletes to be introduced to this exciting Paralympic sport. Our goal is to develop programs across the nation in an effort to enrich our consumer’s lives as well as increase our pool of athletes thereby improving our likelihood of winning gold at future World Championships and Paralympic Winter Games. You can be part of that process!
